The year kicked off with a fabulous fashion show and charity tea in aid of Mother's Choice. It also co-incided with our AGM which was held just prior to the fashion show at the Marriott Hotel. The models showed off beautiful creations by designer Satya Paul . There was also a display of jewellery which was stunning. The HKIWC and the Silver Jubilee Trust Fund donated HK$25000/- Another $11000/- was donated by members collected on that afternoon.

Many of our members enjoyed an afternoon at our Annual Cards drive organised at the Country Club. Games like rummy canasta and flush were played.

A fabulous Diwali luncheon was held at the Country Club with games galore and delicious food. There were numerous prizes won and the "casino tables" were a big hit!

An evening at the races was planned for the month of November. This proved to be very exciting as many members and guests enjoyed the feast on offer as well as trying their luck on the horses!

In December, we treated the underprivileged children of the HK Poinsettia Primary School to a Christmas Lunch at the India Club. We also organised games and prizes by our own committee's children. Many of the children had a wonderful time and went home with armloads of presents donated by the generosity of members.

The Helping Hands Charity Organisation charity luncheon for the elderly folks was held at the Clearwater Bay Country Club. Over 200 elderly people attended the afternoon and were entertained by our committee with songs and dances. Many members donated lai sees and gift packs.

A farewell lunch was held for Mrs. Shabnam Gupta at the Hong Kong Golf Club. There was also a lunch held in honour of Mrs. Karishma Balani as the outgoing President and to welcome our new President Mrs. Minoo Melwani.
