The various functions held in the year 2005-2006

March 2005 - AGM held at the HK Country Club with guest speaker Mr. Vinod Sharma of Ayur Yoga International enlightening us on the benefits of ayurvedic anti-ageing..

April 2005 - Cards drive held at the L.R.C. Ladies enjoyed bridge rummy and canasta. The frist president of the H.K.I.W.C. Mrs. Kala Mohan was also honored. A cheque was presented to the Childrens Cancer fund as well that afternoon.

May 2005 - A very enlightening and educational talk on the 'Role of Women' in society by Dr. Anson Chan.(Chief secretary of HK at the time of handover.)

June 2005 - Mix n Munch brunch held at committee member, Mrs. Melwani's residence for the members. A talk by Hansaji renewed our sense of wellbeing.

October 2005 - Diwali 2005 was celebrated at the HK Country club with casino tables, bhangra dances and air tickets given away.

November 2005 - Cuisine exchange with members of the Spanish Speaking Womens Association.

December 2005 - X'mas lunch at the India Club with kids from the HK Poinsettia Primary school.

January 2005 - Annual Chinese New Year lunch at Clear Water BayCountry club for the elderly folk of the Helping Hands.
